More government stimulus funding for the Quinte region announced today. Two projects in Quinte West will get underway, one will be a 2 million dollar computer software package to remotely control the city’s sewage and water systems. The other project is bringing drinking water from Frankford into Batawa, costing 3 million dollars.
The federal, provincial, and municipal governments are each paying 1.66 million dollars towards the work.
