A 23-year-old Trenton man, arrested at gunpoint by Quinte West O-P-P, faces home invasion and weapons charges.
Officers responded last friday after a suspect, armed with a knife, entered an apartment in Trenton, demanded one of the people leave with him, and threatened two others.
Police spotted the suspect a short time later, and he approached, still carrying the knife, at which time he was arrested by officers with guns drawn.
The 23-year-old was charged with three counts of assault with a weapon, two counts each of uttering threats and possession of dangerous weapons, and one count of break and enter.
A 15-year-old boy was also charged with break and enter, although his role in the incident hasn’t yet been released..
