Plans for 542 homes in the Cannifton area will go before the Belleville Planning Advisory Committee tonight.
Man Hole Ten Developments wants draft approval of plan of subdivision for the east side of Farnham Road, covering 92 acres.
The land is now primarily agricultural, with a wooded area next to the Moira River, but is predominantly designated residental land use in the city’s official plan, with some open space near the river.
The planning meeting, which will also discuss other proposed residential development in the South Church Street area, will begin at city hall at 5-30 this evening.
