Police officers from Belleville and neighboring muncipalities will gather Monday to honour and remember a 20-year veteran of the city police service. A Funeral service is scheduled for 2 o’clock for 51-year old Acting Sergent Michael Eby who died last week at the Belleville Police Station. Eby leaves behind his wife Tina and two children. The service takes place at Burke Funeral Home on Church Street.
