Northumberland Quinte West MPP Lou Rinaldi is looking forward to an independent review of Quinte Healthcare Corporation’s finances and operations. Rinaldi, at Quinte West Council last night, said QHC faces serious challenges, and needs someone to look in to how it does business. Rinaldi expressed frustration at how difficult it seemed to be for him to learn the actual deficit number from QHC.
Meantime, both Rinaldi and Quinte West Mayor, John Williams, agreed 60 days would not be enough time for a proper review to be finished, and will press for a more flexible timetable.
