Accidents
Belleville, Ontario – On February 5th, 2016, at 7:13 a.m. police attended at the intersection of Everett St. and Henry St. in relation to a two-car accident. Both cars were towed from the scene. There were no reported injuries. A 57 year old Belleville man was charged with disobeying a stop sign.
On February 5th, 2016, at 7:31 a.m. police attended on Dundas Street West in relation to a two-car accident. Both cars were towed from the scene. One of the drivers was charged with ‘Following too closely’. There were no injuries.
On February 5th, 2016, at 4:36 p.m. police attended at the intersection of Bridge St. East and Bleecker Avenue. A 21 year old Trenton man was charged with ‘Start from a stopped position – not in safety’. There were no injuries.
Disturbances
On February 6th, 2016, at 1:10 a.m. an officer on patrol observed a male stumbling into traffic on North Front Street. A 37 year old Belleville man was arrested and charged with being intoxicated in a public place under the Liquor Licence Act.
On February 6th, 2016, at 2:09 a.m. police attended on Coleman Street regarding a disturbance. Several people were involved in an argument near an idling car. The driver was requested to provide a roadside sample of his breath. The 23 year old Shannonville man registered a ‘warn’ and his driver’s licence was suspended for 3 days. His car was towed from the scene.
