New record low
It was a cold start to a late April day Thursday and a record-setting one. According to Environment Canada and readings taken at CFB Trenton at 6 a.m. the mercury had dipped to -4.2 degrees Celsius. That's a bit colder than the previous record low for an April 25 which was -3.5 degrees set in 1997.
