A Picton man, charged with setting a fire at a Bloomfield Restaurant seven months ago, has finally been released from custody.
Forty-seven-year-old William Breakenridge was arrested on March 19th, a short time after fire caused about 35-thousand dollars damage to Angeline’s Inn and Spa on Main Street.
He was charged by Prince Edward O-P-P with two counts of arson, possession of property obtained by crime, break and enter and possession of breakin instruments.
Breakenridge was released yesterday on an interim judicial order, with strict conditions, and will stand trial in Picton Superior Court in late April.
(trial date April 26)
