Northumberland OPP are investigating after a fatal ATV accident in Trent Hills.
On Saturday, shortly after 3:00 p.m., police and Emergency Medical Services responded to a collision on private property off County Road 8. The lone rider, a 23-year-old resident of Trent Hills, sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital before being airlifted to a Toronto-area trauma centre. He was later pronounced dead.
OPP Traffic Collision Investigation members attended the scene to assist with the investigation.
The investigation remains ongoing. Further information will be released as it becomes available.
