Peterborough County OPP have charged a man after an impaired driving incident.
On October 1st, just after midnight, an officer was on patrol on Highway 7 in Otonabee-South Monaghan Township when they observed a westbound vehicle appearing to be having difficulty maintaining their lane. The officer conducted a traffic stop and upon speaking with the driver, determined them to be impaired. The driver was transported to the OPP detachment for further testing.

Fail to apply for permit on becoming owner

The accused had their driver’s licence suspended for 90-days, and their vehicle impounded for seven days. He was held for Bail to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough.
