Belleville’s Planning Advisory Committee will be dealing with some significant development plans at its meeting Monday (October 5).
First, the committee will invite comments on a rezoning application on vacant industrial land between Sidney Street and Palmer Road North off Wilson Avenue.
If approved, about five hectares of land on the eastern part of the 13-hectare property would be developed with 109 residential units consisting of single-family detached, semi-detached and townhouse dwellings.
Following the public meeting, the committee is expected to make recommendations to council on a 30-unit townhouse development on Cloverleaf Drive, a renovation and new nine-storey apartment building at 1 North Front Street and plans for a subdivision consisting of 552 residential units at Black Bear Ridge Village.
The committee meets at 5:30 and the meeting will be livestreamed via the Belleville City Hall Youtube channel.
