Two local paramedics will receive prestigious awards next month.
Paramedic Crystal Thrower and former Paramedic Joel Daniels, who’s now serving with the
Quinte West OPP, will receive the Governor General’s EMS Exemplary Service Medal.
Very few such medals are awarded and are given to those consistently displaying good conduct,
industry, and efficiency over an at least 20 year career as a paramedic.
The awards will be presented October 01 in Niagara Region.
Meanwhile several other awards have been presented recently within the Hastings-Quinte Paramedic Service.
