It is the final long weekend of summer.
That means local roadways, trails, and waterways and likely going to be very busy.
Especially with the return of school for the little ones and teens moving away to post-secondary institutions.
The Ontario Provincial Police and Belleville city officers will be out in full force and like normal, they will be looking for infractions that cause injury and fatality.
The big four are seat belt infractions, aggressive, impaired, and distracted driving.
Officers will be out in increased numbers looking to keep commuters safe and sound.
