Belleville police have arrested a man they were seeking for multiple warrants.
During a traffic stop on Moira Street West on Saturday, Officers found a man who was wanted on multiple warrants riding as a passenger in the vehicle. The man was subsequently arrested due to the warrants.
Michael Cornwall-Goddard, a 38-year-old Belleville man, is facing charges of assault, assault with a weapon, two counts of failure to comply with a probation order, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and mischief under $5000.
He was held for a bail hearing.
