On August 5, 2026 at 5:37 p.m., Belleville police responded to a call for service at a residence in the city’s east end.
Officers attended the area and spoke with a man and a woman. During the interaction, officers learned the man was wanted on an outstanding Belleville Police Service arrest warrant for robbery with a weapon.
As a result, a 35-year-old Belleville man of no fixed address was arrested on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.
