Work continues this week on the infamous County Road 49 in Prince Edward County.
Cross-culverts will continue to be replaced south of Bethesda Road all week.
That work had already been underway on another stretch of County Road 49.
Traffic will be affected by the work at times.
A big rubberization machine arrives next week to pound the highway’s concrete into small pieces, creating a solid base for new asphalt.
