A GoFundMe campaign has been started for the family of a man recently killed in a propane explosion at a Peterborough golf course.
Derek Harding, a 63-year-old employee at Bellmere Winds Golf Resort, passed away on Thursday in a Toronto hospital from injuries sustained during the explosion. The incident took place on Wednesday, July 22 at close to 3 p.m. No one else was hurt in the blast.
Now a GoFundMe campaign has been launched with the funds raised going to Harding’s surviving family, to help with funeral costs and other expenses. The campaign has a goal to raise of $26,000. At the time of writing, they have raised just over $6,000.
