The number of violent crimes in Quinte West last year remained exactly the same.
In its annual report Quinte West OPP report a total of 539 violent crimes being committed in 2025-the same number as reported in 2024.
Two out of three violent crimes were cleared by police.
The number of assaults and assaults involving firearms was down a bit last year but the number of other offenses involving violence or threats were a bit higher.

Officers handled 147 incidents involving drivers impaired by alcohol and/or drugs.
That number is almost triple the number of impaired driving violations in 2024 when there were just 57.
