A local industry has plans for a significant expansion.
BCS Automation Ltd. along with landowner Bowland Company Ltd. have applied
to the City of Belleville’s Community Improvement Plan (CIP) to help pay the costs
of a new $10.7 million, 38,000 square foot manufacturing building at 435 Station Street.

BCS Automation is now located on Dundas Street East and manufactures specialized electrical and automation systems.
On Monday, city council will vote on whether or not to grant the companies a total of just over $202,000 from its CIP.
The facility would add 15 new full-time jobs to the current 32 member workforce.
