On July 22, 2026 at 7:07 p.m., Belleville police responded to a residence in the city’s east end regarding a domestic dispute.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with a male who reported that he had been involved in a verbal altercation with a female that escalated after the female broke his guitar.
As a result of the investigation, a 25-year-old Belleville woman was arrested and charged with mischief – domestic.
She was released on an undertaking with a court date in September.
