Quinte Red Devils forward Lauchlan Whelan has officially signed his OHL Scholarship and Development Agreement with the Windsor Spitfires.
Whelan was selected in the first round with the 16th overall selection of the OHL Priority Selection Draft by the Spitfires.
Whelan spent the past three seasons with the Quinte Red Devils.
In his OHL draft season, Whelan appeared in 34 games with the Red Devils, recording 32 goals and 22 assists for 54 points.
He carried over his play into the postseason, tallying 12 goals and three assists for 15 points in eight playoff games.
