A new candidate has signed papers to run for mayor of Quinte West in the 2026 municipal election.
Dennis Flintoff officially filed his nomination papers on Monday.
He is now the third candidate to announce he is running for mayor, joining councillors Zack Card and Shelley Stedall.
Candidates must file their nomination papers with the city clerk before the close of nominations on Friday, Aug. 21, at 2 p.m.
A full list of certified candidates will be made available following the close of nominations on Monday, Aug. 24.
