The City of Quinte West have confirmed that Mike Cowan has filed his nomination papers to run for councillor of Ward 1 – Trenton for the upcoming 2026 municipal election.
Cowan officially filed his nomination papers on Friday.
Candidates must file their nomination papers with the City Clerk before the close of nominations on Friday, Aug. 21, at 2 p.m.
A full list of certified candidates will be made available following the close of nominations on Monday, Aug. 24.
