Prince Edward County Council has approved a tender for a new roof on the Crystal Palace at the county fairgrounds.
During Tuesday’s council meeting, councillors reviewed a report the tender for the roof replacement project.
The tender for the project is being awarded to Semple Gooder Roofing Corporation, for a total of $447,659.00 plus taxes. They were the only company to submit a bid that met minimum qualifications.
The tender was approved without debate. Funds for the project were already approved as part of the 2026 capital budget.
