Quinte West OPP have laid charges in an impaired driving investigation.
On Friday, at approximately 2:10 a.m., a traffic complaint led Quinte West OPP to suspect a motorist may have been under the influence of alcohol.
The driver attended the Quinte West Detachment, in relation to a separate incident, where impaired charges were laid.
Julia Tregunna, age 26, from Quinte West, was charged with:
- Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
- Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on June 18, 2026. Additionally, the vehicle was impounded for seven days, and licence suspended for 90 days.
