Alnwick Haldimand firefighters, along with Hamilton Township crews, responded to a large shed and associated brush fire Saturday morning.
Thick black smoke was seen billowing from a property alleged to be a marijuana grow-op along Highway 401 west
of The Big Apple restaurant and tourist attraction.

The fire was reported shortly after 10 o’clock and there are propane tanks on the property.
No injuries were reported.
