The City of Belleville’s Planning Committee to receive a recommendation and refer a decision to staff on a relocated car dealership at its meeting on Monday.
It was revealed to the committee that the proposal is for the relocation of Belleville Volkswagen from its location on North Front Street to a plot of land at 6612 Highway 62 near Maitland Drive.
Currently a house and a barn sit on the property, with the applicant hoping to demolish those structures to make way for the dealership.
The recommendation called for City of Belleville to receive the zoning by-law amendment and refer it to Staff for a decision in accordance with the Delegation of Authority By-law.
The committee carried the motion.
