Tim Hortons Belleville and Stirling kicked off their Smile Cookie campaigns Monday.
Two-time Stanley Cup winner with the Chicago Blackhawks Andrew Shaw joined YMCA Board Chair Stephanie Rayton, CEO Dave Allen CEO, owners Niranjan Panchalingam and Jamie Smid, and Campaign Co-chairs Kristin Crowe and Ed Lehtinen at the Tim’s location on Dundas Street West.
Through May 3, when you purchase a Smile Cookie at Tim Hortons locations in Belleville and Stirling, 100% of the proceeds will go
to support the YMCA of Central East Ontario’s Centre for Life Campaign.
“We are very pleased to share that Andrew Shaw, former NHL player and two-time Stanley Cup champion, has agreed to support our local campaign promotion. Andrew’s passion, leadership, and strong community values make him an outstanding ambassador, and we are proud to have his support,” said Allen.
Funds raised at Quinte West Tim Hortons locations will go to the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation towards the purchase of three flexible cystoscopes for Trenton Memorial Hospital to support bladder care.
The Hastings Prince Edward Learning Foundation will benefit from Smile Cookies sold in Madoc and Marmora while money from Prince Edward County locations is going to Hospice Prince Edward.
