Northumberland County OPP laid a charge in a harassment investigation.
Police received a report at around 8:30 a.m. on Friday from a resident of Trent Hills who had located an electronic tracking device that had been placed in their car without their knowledge.
An investigation took place, and as a result, one person was arrested on Sunday.
A 63-year-old male from Havelock was charged with Criminal harassment – beset and watch complainant.
The accused shall not be named in order to protect the identity of the victim.
The individual is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg in June 2026.
