The Frankford Huskies are off to the Ontario Junior C final four.
They defeated the Uxbridge Bruins 4-3 in game six Tuesday night, to be crowned the Ontario Junior C Eastern Conference Champions (Schmalz Cup quarter final winners).
Avery Wease opened the scoring for Frankford late in the first period, assisted by Keegan Juchau and Nolan Donnelly.
Uxbridge found an equalizer in the second frame from Bensen Moore, but Juchau answered back with a clutch short-handed goal late in the second period to regain the Huskies’ lead.

Special teams were a big part of the game, as Frankford would also score on the power play, as Nolan Donnelly found the back of the net.
Keegan Juchau then extended the cushion with his second goal of the night, securing a massive four-point performance.
Despite the late pressure and pulling their goalie, Uxbridge could not find the equalizer before the final horn.
Huskies netminder Liam Boyer stood tall under pressure, turning aside 28 shots he faced for the win.
