Quinte West OPP have laid down a long list of charges following an impaired driving investigation.
On Friday, just before 5:30 p.m., officers received a traffic complaint on Front Street in Trenton that led them to suspect a driver was impaired.
As a result of the investigation, charges were laid.
Hailey Green, a 24-year-old from Quinte West, was charged with: operation while impaired, blood alcohol over 80, assaulting a peace officer, dangerous operation, class G1 driver unaccompanied by qualified driver, novice driver with blood alcohol over zero, driver failed to surrender licence, failure to surrender permit for motor vehicle, careless driving, and failure to have insurance card.
The accused was released from custody with a court date set in Belleville in May. The vehicle was impounded for seven days, and licence suspended for 90 days.
