The future of a plot of green space in Belleville will be up for discussion at Monday’s council meeting.
The land, located along South John Street, and across Harbour Drive from Jane Forester Park, currently consists of an open grass area.
A by-law is up for consideration that would declare the green space surplus to the city’s needs, and transfer the property to the owners of a neighbouring home.
The by-law does not seek compensation for the land, assigning it a value of $0.
