The Frankford Huskies are just one win away from being the Provincial Junior Hockey League’s (PJHL) champions.
The Huskies beat the Uxbridge Bruins 4-2 on Friday night in front of almost 900 fans in Uxbridge and now have a three-games-to-one lead in the best of seven.
Scoring for Frankford were Avery Wease, Deke Osterhout, Nolan Donnelly, and Keegan Juchau.
Goaltender Liam Boyer was outstanding, stopping 43 of the 45 shots he faced. The Huskies fired 35 shots on
the Bruins’ net.
Frankford could take the championship with a win Sunday night at home. Puck drops at 7 p.m.
