The Community Trees bare-root seedling giveaway is back on May 2.
The giveaway will take place in Market Square behind City Hall and begin at 9 a.m.
Residents can select from a variety of native tree and shrub species including:

Bur Oak

Red Maple

Sycamore

Tulip Tree

Tamarack

Pussy willow

White cedar

Paper birch

Sugar maple
Seedlings are in limited quantities, meaning residents may pick up to five seedlings per household and no more than three of the same species.
The event will run as long as quantities last, however, supplies are expected to go quickly so residents are encouraged to get there early.
