Quinte West is preparing public consultation about potentially opening part North Frankfort Trail to vehicle traffic.
Previously the trail had been limited to pedestrian traffic only, however during Wednesday’s council meeting, the idea of opening a segment of the trail between North Trent Street to Glen Ross to vehicles was considered.
While discussing the motion, it was determined that public consultation was needed before they could proceed, and council moved to direct staff to hold public consultations regarding the trail.
The motion passed unanimously.
