Prince Edward County Council is expected to officially sign off on a lease with a local company to provide services to the Picton marina at its meeting Tuesday.
County council’s Committee of the Whole recommended a one-year lease be approved with Casa Dea Finance for this boating season.
Casa Dea would bring water and power to unserviced docks and pay for major upgrades, while The County will handle maintenance and day-to-day operations.
Revenues will be split 70 per cent for Casa Dea and 30 per cent for the county.
Council terminated the lease with previous company, Tenacity, and that matter is before the courts.
