Two local hockey teams continue their playoff runs today (Saturday), with one going for a league championship.
In Jr. C the Uxbridge Bruins will be in Frankford to take on the Huskies to start the East Conference championship best of seven.
The puck drops at 7 o’clock.
Uxbridge finished first in the regular season in the East Orr Division while Frankford placed second in the Todd Division.
And tonight in senior’s hockey, in the Northern Premier Hockey League, it’s Game 5 in the best of five between the Manotick Mariners and Tweed Oil Kings.
The winner takes home the Sentinel Cup. The game starts at 7:30 at the Minto Recreation Centre.
