Tyendinaga police assisted Belleville police when a driver experienced medical distress Wednesday afternoon.
The driver had travelled from Belleville to the Shannonville area.
As a result of the incident, there was some temporary traffic congestion at the intersection of York Road and Old Highway 2 while emergency services responded and ensured public safety.
In a Facebook post, Tyendinaga police thanked the public for their patience and cooperation during the incident.
