Brighton’s Hallie Clarke has another Canadian title to add to her resume.
On the heels of her 19th-place result at the Milano Cortina Olympics, the 21-year-old skeleton athlete grabbed her third straight national title with a time of 1:50.11.
Fellow Olympian Jane Channell took silver (1:50.38) and Grace Dafoe fininshed third (1:52.46).
Clarke is a former junior and senior world champion who took up the sport at age 14.
On Instagram Clarke posted, “Another great end to the year. Some people’s last race, some people’s first, some personal bests and a whole lot of fun. Couldn’t ask for a better team to be a part of. Congratulations to everyone on a great race. See ya next season! Shoutout to the coaches and volunteers for putting on such a smooth camp/race.”
