A recent fundraiser that celebrates women in the Bay of Quinte region, is going to financially help a woman pursuing higher education.
On Monday, Marylou Frost of Exit Realty hosted the annual “Women Inspiring Women” event at the Batawa Community Centre.
Numerous women in positions of respect and prominence were on hand, to help raise all women in the community higher, many through showcasing their business, goods and services
“It is a platform to showcase and celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit, creativity, and the achievements of business women in the region,” says Frost.
The funds raised at the event go to support the Loyalist College Women Inspiring Women bursary (students enrolled in the Business and Marketing course).
“We made it to $12,000. Exceeding the goal! Thank you to everyone who helped us reach that mark,” added Frost.
