A temporary lockdown was in place at Centennial Secondary School after a report of an individual with a firearm inside the school.
Belleville police say they responded to the report at a west-end secondary school on Thursday at around 12:26 p.m.
Quinte News has learned that the incident was at Centennial Secondary School.
Police say that officers located a teenager nearby in possession of a replica firearm and several knives.
The 15-year-old Belleville male is facing weapons charges.
The school was placed on lockdown while police responded, but the lockdown has since been lifted.
