Two people are facing charges in connection with a break and enter in Trenton.
On Monday, Quinte West OPP were dispatched to a break and enter in progress on Crown Street where individuals were removing copper wire from a building.
Police made two arrests at the scene.
Dana Parker, 42 years old of Quinte West has been charged with the following offences:
- Break, enter a place – commit indictable offence
- Possession break in instruments
- Possession property obtained by crime under $5000
- Possession of a prohibited device or ammunition
- Theft under $5000
- Possession of a credit card
- Identity theft – obtain or possess another persons identity information
- Fail to comply with probation order
John Clarke, 53 years old of Quinte West has been charged with the following offences:
- Break, enter a place – commit indictable offence
- Theft under $5000
Parker remains in custody and is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on March 25.
Clarke was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on June 18.
