A Quinte west man is facing multiple charges after allegedly driving himself to the OPP detachment while intoxicated.
Saturday evening, Quinte West OPP responded to a complaint made by an intoxicated individual, concerning a potential injury caused earlier that evening.
Thirty minutes later, the individual showed up at the detachment where they committed further offences.
Lance Hurley, age 39, from Quinte West, was arrested and charged with:
- Operation while impaired – alcohol
- Failure or refusal to comply with demand
- Indecent Act – public place
- Assault a Peace Officer
- Breach of Recognizance
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court in Belleville on May 7.
Additionally, the vehicle was impounded for seven days, and their licence suspended for 90 days.
