Two males and one female are facing several charges after a drug trafficking investigation in Oshawa.
This month, Durham Regional Police began an investigation into All in One Convenience located at 152 Park Road South. Investigators received information that employees at the store were trafficking drugs and providing drugs in exchange for alcohol.
On Wednesday, investigators, with the assistance of the Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU), executed search warrants at the business and a residence in Toronto. Two males and a female were located in the business and taken into custody without incident. The search warrants located a quantity of drugs and drug paraphernalia, more than 250 bottles of stolen alcohol valued at over $20,000, illegal cigarettes, stolen clothing, and large amounts of cash.
Mayuresh Mahendran, age 22 from Toronto is charged with: Possess Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (fentanyl), Possess Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (crack cocaine), Unlawfully Possess Schedule I Substance (crystal methamphetamine), Possess Cannabis for the Purpose of Selling, Possess Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000, Possession of Unmarked Cigarettes for the Purpose of Sale, and Drive Motor Vehicle While Under Suspension.
Fredy Biju, age 22 from Oshawa is charged with: Trafficking in Schedule I Substance (fentanyl), Possess Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (fentanyl), Possess Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (crack cocaine), Possess Schedule II Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (hydromorphone), Possess Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000, and Possession of Unmarked Cigarettes for the Purpose of Sale.
Emilie Ann Crissinger, age 22 from Clarington is charged with: Possess Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (fentanyl), Possess Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (crack cocaine), and Possess Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000.
All were held for a bail hearing.
