More than 200 vendors and exhibitors were kept very busy over the weekend.
The Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre hosted the annual Quinte Sportsman Boat and RV Show
There were fishing boats, RVs, ATVs, trailers, tackle, items for the cottage, the backyard, and much, much more.
Event organizer Catherine Cox tells Quinte News
“We would say the numbers this year were really good, Saturday was a really busy day. I think people were really excited to get out and about with this very long, cold, chilly winter. I don’t have exact numbers, but I would say it was more than last year which is really awesome.”
She adds that visitors came from across the Quinte region, the Toronto/Ottawa/Montreal triangle, and even New York State.
“We try really to make that it’s a family event, so if your husband likes boating and fishing, that you might want to actually take something home for the kids as well, we’ve got something for everybody literally. We’ve got fishing, hunting, and then we do have our lifestyle section upstairs, with a lot of local artisans as well. Then we always have something for the kids to do like rock climbing walls, Little Ray’s Reptiles.”
