The cost of a garbage bag tag in Belleville is going up.
Effective on march 18th, the price per tag will increase from $3 to $3.50. Tags bought before this date can still be used after the increase.
The price increase was approved as part of the 2026 municipal budget, in order to address rising costs of waste collection services.
