Belleville Police arrested two people on warrants Thursday evening.
Just after 7:30 p.m., Belleville Police responded to a business for a report of unwanted persons.
It was reported that a male and female were on the property and refusing to leave.
Upon investigation, it was learned that both parties had outstanding Belleville Police Service arrest warrants for failing to comply with probation orders.
As a result:
Katie Cuffe, 39-year-old Belleville woman of no fixed address was arrested on the strength of the warrant and released on an undertaking with a scheduled court date in May.
A 43-year-old Belleville man of no fixed address was arrested on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.
