There are two big games Friday night in the OJHL but for different reasons.
The Trenton Golden Hawks will try to sweep the Lindsay Muskies four straight and move on in the playoffs while the Wellington Dukes have to win at home to avoid being swept by the Pickering Panthers.
The Trenton game starts at 7 o’clock in Lindsay. The Dukes play at 7:30.
In Jr C playoff action, the Frankford Huskies can win their semifinal series four games straight with a win on Friday night in Napanee.
Thursday they beat the Raiders 4-3 in overtime
Elsewhere, Lakefield defeated the Picton Pirates 6-3 on Thursday and can sweep the series with a win tomorrow night in Picton at 7:30
In the Northern Premier Hockey League, the Deseronto Community Recreation Centre will be packed Saturday night.
Fans will witness Game 3 of a best-of-five semifinal between the Deseronto Bulldogs and the Tweed Oil Kings.
Tweed has a two-games-to-none lead in the series.
The winner of the series goes on to play either Manotick or North Dundas for the league championship.
