Prince Edward County has named a new permanent Chief Administrative Officer.
During Tuesday’s meeting of council, Adam Goheen was officially appointed as the new CAO, after having been interim CAO since May 2025.
“On behalf of Council, I am pleased to announce that Adam Goheen will continue on as the senior administrator for the County of Prince Edward,” said Mayor Steve Ferguson. “Mr. Goheen has stepped up and brought stability to the organization over the past 10 months. His proven experience and leadership skills will be critical in the coming
months as Council completes its current term and we move into a municipal election this fall.”
Goheen took over the role after the departure of the previous CAO, Marcia Wallace.
