The Trenton Golden Hawks defeated the Lindsay Muskies on Saturday, leading their best of seven playoff series two to zero.
Jack Ziliotto, Isaiah Shantz, and Beckett Ewart scored for the Golden Hawks.
The Muskies opened scoring in the first period, but the Golden Hawks came back to even the score, taking a 1-1 tie into the second. During the second, the Golden Hawks scored one unanswered goal, to take the lead. In the third, both teams scored twice, with the Golden Hawks hanging on to their lead to win the game.
The Golden Hawks and Muskies will clash again on Tuesday at the Dunc.
